As aeronaves serão operadas pelo Grupamento de Operações Aéreas (GOA) para missões de defesa civil, resgate e transporte aeromédico.

Airbus has announced Air India as a future operator of the A320neo from 2017. Air India and ALAFCO just signed an operating lease for 14 A320neo aircraft. The request was made official in India Aviation 2016 which is taking place in Hyderabad, India – International aviation fair started yesterday (March, 16) and ends on the 20th. With this agreement the A320neo will offer to Air India a reduction of 15% in fuel consumption, noise reduction and environmental impact, offering its passengers the best in class comfort. Today Air India operates 66 A320 Family aircraft, including 22 Airbus A319s, 24 Airbus A320 and 20 A321. Air India was the first airline in India to operate the A320 for 27 years.

Airbus had a good start 2016, especially when it comes to family of widebody aircraft, the most sold with 16 orders in January 2016, comprising a total of 14 new A330-900neo of an undisclosed customer and two for A320ceo CALC (China Aircraft Leasing Company), a lessor based in Hong Kong. Airbus has started final assembly of the first A350-1000 on schedule at the A350 XWB Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Toulouse, France. This A350-1000, one of three flight test aircraft to be built, will take to the skies for its maiden flight before the end of 2016. A350-1000 deliveries will start in mid-2017 with Qatar Airways, which was also a launch customer of the A350-900 version. To ensure the smooth integration of the A350-1000 into the FAL while A350-900 production is ramping-up, Airbus has added three additional final assembly stations and is increasing the number of the final assembly line of the A350 XWB employees from its current level - about 1,500 - 1,900 to about 2018. For maximum flexibility, all stations in the A350 XWB FAL can be used for both models. The first A321neo equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A engines completed its maiden flight on February 9th from Hamburg, Germany. The aircraft, registration D-AVXB, was flown by Experimental Test Pilots Martin Scheuermann and Bernardo Saez Benito Hernandez. Accompanying them in the cockpit was Test-Flight Engineer Gérard Leskerpit and monitoring the flight’s progress were Flight-Test Engineers Sandra Bour Schaeffer and Emiliano Requena Esteban. The flight lasted five hours and 29 minutes during which tests were performed on the engine speed variation (low/high), systems behaviour and to validate the aircraft’s flight envelope. The A321neo will join the NEO flight test fleet and perform a partial flight test programme to validate the impact on handling qualities, performance and systems. Iran officials have signed two agreements with Airbus covering new aircraft orders and a comprehensive civil aviation co-operation package. The agreements were signed at the Élysée Palace, Paris, during Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s official visit to France with French President François Hollande. Iran Air has signed an agreement with Airbus for the acquisition of the full range of new Airbus airliners (73 widebodies and 45 single aisle). This includes pilot and maintenance training and support services to help the entry into service and efficient operations of these new aircraft. Iran Air’s agreement to acquire aircraft from all of Airbus’ in-production jetliner families will provide this Iranian flag carrier with a modern, highly efficient fleet capable of meeting its full air transport needs – from regional routes to high-density, long-haul operations. Airbus has increased the average list prices of its aircraft by 1.1 per cent across the product line. The new pricing is effective from January 1st 2016. The International Airport of Sao Paulo (Guarulhos-SP) is preparing once again to receive the largest passenger plane, the  Airbus  A380. The aircraft was the last time in Brazil in March 2012 to receive approvals, look at photos as it was here . But that year the aircraft was not approved during type approval due to airport infrastructure in place for the size of the aircraft category F. During this period, the private manager of the airport,  GRU Airport , worked hard in adaptations with increased width and shoulder of the landing tracks and take-offs, the taxiways and changing the signage at the drill ground, moreover, was built and opened in 2014 as new passenger terminal, Terminal 3 (TPS 3).
